Strong feelings are known to us all. The Good Counselors turn
them into songs. With double bass, guitar, powerful voices, and lots of
percussive mischief, they serve a pulsating blend of music and mimic.
They jump for joy and sparkle in wonder, furiously bang out rhythms on
suitcases, shower gleefully in French, and parade the Harley bike
across the stage. The Good Counselors run from low-flying aliens and
the thundering hooves of stampeding buffaloes, scold and writhe with
pain and desperately plead for love in the jungle. Should one laugh or
weep? Whatever the choice, here are three men so real and unaffected,
their music so sincere and the lyrics so true, that they always succeed
in touching a chord deep within us. |
